Dragon Slayer IV: Drasle Family, arguably one of the best classic RPGs, was released in July 1987 for the MSX and April 1989 for the NES and developed by Nihon Falcom. It was a non-linear, open-world action RPG, or “Metroidvania” style of game. It was known as “Legacy of the Wizard” in North America.
